 B i o g r a p h y Giovanni Sorcinelli "GIÓX", born in 1963, lives and works in Fano (Italy). He is a professional cartoonist, humourist and illustrator. Since 1992 he publishes his humorous cartoons and he collaborates with humorous publishing houses. Since 1993 he partecipates in most important national and intl Cartoon contests. In his palmares more than 15 prizes. 2 personal exhibitions (Giaveno, Maiolati Spontini - Italy) and 1 Group exhibition (Zemun, Yugoslavia). He collaborates with newspapers "Il Resto del Carlino", "La Nazione", "Il Giorno", with sportive newspaper "Corriere dello Sport - Stadio", and weekly sportive magazine "Guerin Sportivo" (Italy). In the 1996 publishes the comic books "Amori Schizzati" and "God save the football" (Il Pennino editor). He is the organizer of FANOFUNNY - Intl Festival of Humour and Satire - since 1996. Since 1989 he collaborates with the organizers of Fano Carnival in the projects and buildings of allegoric cars. He's the winner of 1998 edition.
